PE Council

Sports Ambassadors

Their role is to oversee school sport and to increase participation in competition and extra-curricular activity. They attend regular training meetings with the Dacorum School Sports Network and have weekly meetings with our sports coach to discuss new ideas initiatives that they can deliver.

Health Activity Leaders

Our Health Activity leaders promote a healthy lifestyle and encourage physical activity. They set up games for children to take part in on the playground at lunch time and also promote a healthy eating by providing children with fruit at break times.

PE Council

The PE councils role is to promote sport as a positive at Bovingdon and give every child the opportunity to take part. They lead break, lunch and after school clubs/activities and play an important role at sporting events such a sports day, sports relief and many more. They will act as a voice for pupils with regard to sports activity within school, encourage pupils to become involved in sport, promote lunch time sports events and officiate at tournaments. They will also help promote and run our Change 4 Life club that focusses on getting all children physically active in a non-competitive environment. They have many roles such as kit leader, reporter. Photographer, PE shed monitors, playground leaders and many more.

The PE Council is:

Riley, Krishan, Daniel, Rosie, Jessica, Anna, Maxwell, Amelia, Koby, Elfin, Matthew, Phoebe, Leo, Jude, Kaitlyn

 

Sports Events

Throughout the year we involve ourselves in various sports tournaments and events.
