Proposed Expenditure 2016-17

The level of Pupil Premium for 2016-17 is £1,320 per pupil for pupils eligible for free school meals (FSM) and £1,900 for pupils in care or who have been adopted from care.

Total Pupil Premium income for 2016-17: £48,840

In 2016-17, the school will continue to use Pupil Premium Funding to support initiatives to raise achievement and to develop pupil confidence and resilience.

It is proposed to use the funding:

  • to continue to provide planning time for teachers and Teaching Assistants
  • to provide 1:1 tuition
  • to fund additional teachers
  • to fund additional Teaching Assistant hours
  • to fund training for Teaching Assistants
  • to provide a free weekly after school activity to pupils currently in receipt of Free School Meals (FSM)
  • to support the cost of music lessons for pupils currently in receipt of FSM
  • to make a £50 contribution towards school uniform or the cost of school trips or an additional after school activity club for pupils in receipt of FSM
  • to provide counselling for pupils i.e. Open Toy Box
